Quick answers
Do you hold the parents’ money?
No. Parents pay straight into your account or your PayShap. MalumeBook never holds, pools or moves a cent of the fees.
What if I lose my phone?
Back up your book to yourself on WhatsApp. One tap sends it to your own number, and you restore it on the new phone from that message.
Because your families’ details live only on your phone, that backup is the copy. Do it after each month.
Can I stop?
Yes. It’s month to month with no contract. Message Rogan on WhatsApp and we stop the billing. We refund any month you paid for and didn’t use.
If a paid month runs out, sending switches off after about a week. Your book stays on your phone, you can still read it and you can still back it up. We never hold your data hostage.
Does it work on my phone?
Any phone with WhatsApp and a web browser. It runs on cheap Android phones and there is no app store to go through.
Do the parents need to install anything?
No. They get a normal WhatsApp message from you, with your payment details on it.
